Jonny Gomes gives 'un-politically correct' speech at Royals celebration (VIDEO)

Jonny Gomes did more than steal the show at the Royals celebration in Kansas City on Tuesday, the bearded outfielder also invented the mic flip.

Following their downtown parade and in front of a sea of fans at Union Station, Gomes, who wasn't even on the Royal's postseason roster,  grabbed a U.S flag, asked for a moment of silence in memory of Mike Moustakas’ mother, Chris Young’s father and Ednison Volquez’s father, who all passed away in the past four months, and gave this memorable speech:

“It’s unbelievable what those boys did,” Gomes said. “It’s unbelievable what they did! It’s unbelievable what they did! They stole bases, they hit homers. Hey guess what, Cy Young winner, not on our team, beat him. Rookie of the year, not on our team, we beat him. MVP of the whole league, (turns around) sorry guys not on our team. But we beat that guy too! You know why we beat them. Because all of you all people had our backs.

“And Dayton Moore put this team together and Yost delivered it by being the captain of the ship. You all want to be politically correct, I’m the un-politically correct person. We whooped their ass!”

(Mic flip)

Can't wait to see what he wears to the White House this time.

Jonny Gomes KOs teammate's kid swinging daughter during Royals celebration (VIDEO)

Jonny Gomes celebrated the Royals 7-2 victory over the Astros Wednesday night by swinging one of his daughters around the pitcher’s mound.

Unfortunately, during the playful moment with his kid, Gomes didn’t see Jason Vargas’s son running towards them and, well,  it's easy to figure out what happens next:

So, Jason Vargas, you just won the ALDS. What are you going to do next?

Well, we're actually headed to the emergency room for an MRI.

Nah, the kid was alright.

Jonny Gomes lays out for diving catch and saves two runs (VIDEO)

Jonny Gomes took a dive out in left field to make an amazing catch, stealing two runs from the Astros at Minute Maid Park Tuesday night.

The A's left fielder's third-inning stretch wasn't enough though. Houston ended up winning 4-2.

A's go ahead with Yoenis Cespedes T-shirt giveaway despite being traded (VIDEO)

Yoenis Cespedes was once a bright star for the Athletics but, after being exchanged for Jon Lester and Jonny Gomes before Thursday's trade deadline, La Potencia will soon be a washed up memory in Oakland.

Washed up as in an old faded T-shirt sort of way.

While Thursday's trade seemed to benefit both clubs, it left the A's marketing department with an unusual dilemma because Saturday's game at Oakland's O.co Coliseum was supposed to be Yoenis Cespedes T-shirt night.

So the A's decided to just go ahead and give them out anyway.

Lester, who made his first start for the A's in the giveaway game, weathered the awkward situation, for an 8-3 win over the Royals.

Meanwhile, Cespedes went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a 6-4 Red Sox loss to the Yankees.

Pierzynski gets walk-off triple after two Rays outfielders collide (VIDEO)

It was a Friday night of Red Sox and Rays players constantly clashing at home plate, but the game was decided after two Tampa Bay players collided with each other in centerfield.

A.J. Pierzynski won the contentious game with a triple as Boston beat Tampa Bay, 3-2, in 10 innings at Fenway Park. The fifth straight win for the Red Sox was even sweeter for the home team after manager John Farrell, two of his coaches, and starting pitcher Brandon Workman were ejected.

Juan Carlos Ovideo started the 10th for Tampa Bay and hit Jonny Gomes with a pitch with one out. Pierzynski then lined a long shot toward the triangle in center field.

With the Rays playing deep, center fielder Desmond Jennings and right fielder Wil Myers converged and collided. As the ball rolled away, Gomes raced around the bases. He scored while raising his helmet high, then flipped it into the air.

It was the second walkoff win in as many nights for the Red Sox and the first walkoff hit for Pierzynski since 2009.

Fans can now bid on Jonny Gomes' patriotic American flag blazer

For the fan who has everything,  MLB Auctions is selling the Jonny Gomes red, white and blue blazer he wore to the White House to celebrate the team's World Series victory earlier this month.

Here is a snapshot of the auction page:

As of Thursday,  the current MLB auction bid stood at $1,650. Although, Red Sox fans — or flag lovers —  still have a little over a week to get their hands on a jacket that not only gets attention but also helps a good cause.

Here is the auction lot's description:

Bid now on this Jonny Gomes American Flag Jacket. Gomes wore this jacket during the Red Sox visit to the White House on 4/1/2014.

All net proceeds will benefit the Travis Roy Foundation. The Travis Roy Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the life of individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families by providing adaptive equipment and to finding a cure through increased funding of research, resulting in self-reliance and the ability to be as independent as possible.

There are signatures from "30 Boston Red Sox players and coaches" on the infamous jacket, according to NESN's Zack Cox.

And when you consider the sport coat was also featured at the White House, commemorates a great moment in Red Sox history and is being auctioned for a great cause, you can expect the price to rise.
