Just days after OBJ set the once obscure record in Scottsdale, Ariz., Iowa receiver Tevaun Smith decided to give it a shot, and video shows he managed to catch an impressive 41 balls in one minute on Friday. Since there were no Guinness officials around to verify the record, it looks like the Iowa junior won't be getting one of those snazzy certificates to hang on his wall.

Iowa WR tops Odell Beckham's world record for one-handed catches (VIDEO)
After Odell Beckham Jr. teamed up this week with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees to set a Guinness World Record for most one-handed catches in a minute — making 33 grabs in the allotted time — the mark has already been broken.

Odell Beckham Jr. breaks world record with 33 one-handed catches in a minute (VIDEO)
Odell Beckham Jr. has been one pretty busy NFL player during this year's Super Bowl week. In between destroying kids in dodgeball and whipping it on the runway, ODB added a Guinness World Record to his resume.
Beckham's one-handed catches were an NFL sensation this season and, with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees throwing to him from 10 yards away, the Giants receiver obliterated the previous record of 10 one-handed catches in a minute, as he grabbed 33 in front of a crowd with the ESPN cameras rolling.

What can't this guy do and who even knew there was such a record?

Cheerleader sets Guinness record of 42 consecutive handsprings (VIDEO)
An Ohio cheerleader set a new Guinness record by completing 42 handsprings in-a-row this week. Cuyahoga Falls (Oh.) Walsh Jesuit High cheerleader Marie Klein completed the dizzying athletic endeavor during her school's game against Akron (Oh.) St Vincent-St. Mary School (LeBron's alma mater) to break the prior record of 36.
Either way, the cheerleader's extreme feat is quite an accomplishment. I'm disoriented just watching the video.
Klein’s feat spanned 70 yards — from one 15-yard line to the other — in approximately 30 seconds. Though the video below appears to show 40 handsprings, at least according to the count cheered out by the crowd on site, the school itself announced 42.

100 Year-Old Man Plans To Run and Finish Marathon
This Sunday, when the most strenuous activity many people will do is roll out of bed, grab the remote and settle in for six hours of football, Fauja Singh will be running a marathon. While you're sweating out the point spread, he will be pounding the pavement. Big whoop. Well, Singh is 100 years old and preparing to become the first person-- ever-- to complete the 26.2-mile course at that age.
The bearded Singh, who was already a fuzzy-faced teenager when Larry King was born, has been preparing to set a Guinness World Record as the oldest person ever to finish a marathon race.
Singh took up competitive running when he was a young colt of 89 years and has set numerous records as the fastest 100 year-old sprinter in multiple distances. On Sunday, the India-born, British citizen hopes to add the Toronto Waterfront marathon to his list of accomplishments.
In his last marathon, Singh finished with a time of 5 hours and 40 minutes. That was in 2003 when he was pushing a sprightly 92-- an age when most people are putting a new set of wheels on their Rascal.
Singh's coach attributes his century-old charge's fitness to a light diet of tea, toast and curry.
Too bad. I was hoping he was one of those guys who defied nature by eating red meat and washing it down with a half-bottle of scotch every day.
