Georgia Dome security practices chasing down field-storming fans

The Lone Wolf field crasher. We've all seen them and we all hate them. And now one security force is preparing to nip the problem in the bud.

Here we have the security staff at the Georgia Dome hard at work, practicing its pursuit and takedown techniques ahead of Friday's preseason game between the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt snapped a picture of security officers on the field, perfecting their fan-catching skills in a staged field rush.
And success.
Why not release a few wiry, fresh-legged college idiots onto the field, chased by fat, taser-armed security, and turn fan-catching practice into a fun halftime show too?

All right. wiry, fresh-legged hipsters.

Falcons players form human curtain around Matt Ryan while he drops trou on sideline

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan suffered a wardrobe malfunction — after sliding into a Denver Broncos defensive player — and had to remove his pants to re-adjust his knee brace on the Atlanta sideline during the Monday Night Football game.  Lucky for Ryan, his teammates were quick to form a human curtain around their signal caller to prevent 71,228 pairs of prying eyes inside the Georgia Dome from seeing more of their quarterback than they paid for.

The impromptu dressing room allowed the Falcons' equipment men to fix the twisted brace while his pants were down during a timeout.

Peyton Manning was the one who really needed a curtain of some kind after a disastrous start Monday.  He was undressed by the Falcons defense (3 interceptions) in the first half as Atlanta beat Denver, 27-21.

Man falls to death celebrating Tennessee touchdown at Georgia Dome

A man died after falling during a college football game between North Carolina State and the University of Tennessee at the Georgia Dome Friday night.

Police said Isaac Grubb, a 20-year old Tennessee man, was reportedly celebrating a Volunteers touchdown when he fell 35-feet from the upper level onto another person sitting in the student section below.

Sadly, it was the second fall to death inside a stadium in as many nights.  On Thursday, a man was killed after falling five stories from an escalator at a Texans-Vikings NFL game in Houston's Reliant Stadium.

Fans who were near Grubb when he fell said he was sitting in section 311 of the Georgia Dome, behind the endzone.  Witnesses said Tennessee scored a touchdown right before he did a fist pump and went over the rail.

The person Grubb landed on was injured and taken to Atlanta Medical Center.  So far, authorities said there is no word if alcohol played a factor in the incident.
