Kid with popcorn bucket on head takes foul ball to face (VIDEO)

A young Bryce Harper fan took a nasty foul ball to the face from his favorite player while reaching for a prized souvenir at Nationals Park the other night.

It's easy to spot the kid sporting a popular Harper jersey (video below) because he's the only one wearing a popcorn bucket on his head!

It all went down in the bottom of the sixth when Harper rocketed a low foul ball over the right field line. Buckethead leaned over the wall to snag it and took the ricocheted ball flush in the puss while falling awkwardly over the railing to the field.

The kid was okay but hopefully didn't start something here — namely the Popcorn Bucket Challenge.

This young Astros fan probably knew what would happen if he let his big sister "just hold" his newly caught foul ball — so he made sure to mark it as his own.

To turn that prized souvenir into a gross thing that she would never be able to confiscate, the little imp gave it a quick lick. Which, in that unwritten sibling court of law ruling, legally makes it his property.

Even the playful slap made it worthwhile.

Bonus. Since it fell on the ground, it probably still had that hot dog, peanut and Cracker Jack flavor too.

Red Sox fan takes foul ball to chin (VIDEO)

This is one Red Sox fan who might be a little sore even after his team takes a 2-0 ALDS lead against the Rays into Sunday morning. After Will Middlebrooks' foul ball bounced off the Fenway Park tarp, it hit the guy square in the bottom half of his neatly-trimmed Van-Dyke beard.

Now if the guy had a Mike Napoli-style bush under his jaw, he wouldn't have felt a thing.
