Athletics ballboy lays out to save bullpen from line drive (VIDEO)

An athletic Athletics ballboy went the extra mile — or at least a few extra feet — to save the A's pitchers and closers from a line drive foul ball screaming towards the bullpen Saturday night.

With the ground ball bearing down on the Oakland players during their game against the Rays, there was little time to react, and the fast-thinking A's ballboy laid out to make a spectacular diving catch and save the night — pristine white uniform be damned.

The extra effort earned fist bumps from all of the A's pitching staff and dirt stains worthy of Mike Trout.

D-backs ballboy adds drop-and-roll to foul ball catch (VIDEO)

The Diamondbacks ballboy made a great diving catch to snag a foul ball from Buster Posey's bat on Monday night.

Not only did the Chase Field "Gold Glover" make the nifty grab, he added a little drop-and-roll at the end to add a little flair:

Brewers ballboy makes spectacular diving catch... in shorts (VIDEO)

A Brewers ballboy (that's what he's called despite the facial hair) stretched out for a spectacular diving catch in Milwaukee on Monday night — ignoring the fact that he was wearing shorts.  The impressive diving grab on a Garrett Jones foul ball may have led to some skinned knees but got him on plenty of highlight reels.

A real Major League play.
