College goalie chugs beer during game, immediately ejected (VIDEO)

During the second intermission of a shutout against VCU on Friday, Virginia Cavaliers sophomore goalie Jake Anderson rehydrated himself by accepting a beer from his fraternity brothers in the stands and chugging the liquid refreshment.

Staked to a 7-0 lead, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound netminder easily downed the Keystone Light in one uninterrupted gulp — but that wasn't his only last call for the night because the officials gave him a 5-minute major penalty and a game misconduct.

The Cavaliers won 10-1, closing the game with a fully sober goalie.

The Cavaliers will face James Madison on Friday and it wouldn't surprise anyone if the officials check the Gatorade bottle on top of Anderson's net.

Oregon player's easy fast-break dunk ends in epic fail (VIDEO)

Oregon's Elgin Cook looked like he was ready to make someone's highlight reel during a fast break Tuesday against VCU, but ended up making a blooper headline instead.

After coming up with a great steal around half court with his team down by five in the Legends Classic game, Cook looked like he was going to throw it down hard before deciding that maybe a layup was the better option.

Unfortunately, his body wasn't as quick as his mind and Cook missed the bunny too.

VCU went on to a 77-63 victory anyway.

Phil Martelli's 4-year-old grandson imitates the St. Joseph's coach (VIDEO)

Phil Martelli's 4-year-old grandson, Philip, wants to be just like his grandpa. Watch the little guy imitate the St. Joseph's men's basketball coach, all the way from diagramming plays on the chalkboard to his sideline hand gestures —  and he's got all the moves down pat.

We'll probably be seeing more of little Philip after St. Joe's punched its ticket to the Big Dance with a 65-61 win over VCU in the A-10 Tournament championship game Sunday at Barclays Center.
