Packers fans blame Olivia Munn for Aaron Rodgers' poor play

It looks like one team's good luck charm is another team's broken mirror. As the one-time four leaf clover for the New York Rangers when she dated Brad Richards, Olivia Munn has now become the scourge of Green Bay Packers fans since she started showing up with Aaron Rodgers.

At least in the minds of Cheeseheads.

After three games, Green Bay has 1-2 record, and the Packers faithful — and there are plenty — had to blame someone for the underachieving team. And after Sunday's loss to the Lions at Ford Field, the cheese munchers have found a culprit for the team's demise.

Not the slumping Rodgers himself, but his new girlfriend: Munn.

A large cross section of Packers fans have ignored the Packers' poor performance on the field and are directing their boos for the television actress.

Angry Packers fans blew up Twitter on Sunday, concluding that Rodgers was concentrating more on throwing passes to the sexy Munn than his own team.

Rodgers had a simple five letter answer for for all of the negative Packers fans panicking over the slow start.

"Five letters here just for everybody out there in Packer-land: R-E-L-A-X," Rodgers said Tuesday on his ESPN Milwaukee radio show. "Relax. We're going to be OK."

At least it wasn't a four-letter word: M-U-N-N.

Aaron Rodgers dating Olivia Munn: Report

Two weeks after her split from actor Joel Kinnaman, Olivia Munn has switched playing fields and moved on with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Us Weekly reports.

While dining with a group at Nobu Malibu on May 10, sources tell the magazine that the pair behaved like a couple, laughing and kissing throughout the meal.

But this isn’t the first time they’ve been spotted together. “The Newsroom” actress and NFL star both attended the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas in April, where they were photographed hanging out backstage.

The 33-year-old Munn and “RoboCop” actor Kinnaman split after two years together.  She previously dated NHL star Brad Richards.

Rodgers had previously been linked to “Gossip Girl” actress Jessica Szohr.

Keith Olbermann not very inspiring to Aaron Sorkin

Keith Olbermann— the former ESPN, MSNBC, and Current TV talking head and bloviator— is not the inspiration for Jeff Daniels' outspoken lead character on HBO's "The Newsroom" insists the show's creator Aaron Sorkin.  Despite the similarities between the show's news anchor Will McAvoy and the melon-headed commentator Olbermann, Sorkin wanted to clear the air after the Manhattan premiere on Monday night.

"I'm glad I can finally clear this up," Sorkin told The New York Post at the Time-Warner Center.  "I didn't base it on him.  It was during an interview with the BBC that I mentioned him, and, suddenly, it blew up.  So blame the BBC!"

Sorkin— the creator of the critical darlings "Sports Night" and "The West Wing"— did admit basing Olivia Munn's character as a hot, sexy financial reporter on CNN's Christine Romans (huh?).

"There is a little bit of Christine in there," Sorkin sort of let slip.  "But again, a lot of it is what I think the character would be like."

Guests at the premiere party included news luminaries Bryant Gumbel, Brian Williams, and Chris Matthews and the event gives me a reason to post a photo of Munn.
