Here's what happens when two 7'6" centers meet for opening tip-off (VIDEO)

The UC-Irvine Anteaters played the UCF Knights in Orlando Wednesday night, but the really big news was that it was the first time two 7'6" players ever appeared on a basketball court at the same time.

UC-Irvine has Mamadou N'diaye, a junior from Dakar, Senegal and UCF has Tacko Fall, a freshman who comes from the same home city — both seven-and-a-half footers.

And since neither player has ever faced an opponent who even comes close to being their size, everyone wondered what the highly anticipated opening tip-off would be like.

Not exactly Russell vs. Chamberlain, but historic nonetheless.

High school basketball player posterizes 7'6" center (VIDEO)

Lakewood (St. Petersburg, Florida) High School's Anthony Lawrence Jr. isn't afraid of giants.

Lawrence worked his way through the Liberty Christian Prep (Tavares, Florida) defense but found high school basketball's tallest player, 7'6" Tacko Fall, waiting for him at the rim but would not be deterred from his appointed rounds.

Lawrence (6"7" himself) posterizes Tacko (rhymes with taco) with a gym-rocking dunk, and the crowd went nuts.

Fe-Fi Fo-Fugddaboudit.

That wasn't going to happen with this guy who was also guarding Fall:
