The props department of this weekend's No. 1 movie "Straight Outta Compton" isn't getting any props from White Sox fans after a big sports blooper made it look more like "Back To The Future."
While the N.W.A. biopic raked in over $60 million, some Sox fans might have been perplexed by a wardrobe malfunction in the opening scene, according to the Chicago Sun Times blog.
In that first scene, Eazy-E (played by Jason Mitchell) is shown wearing his familiar White Sox hat with the "Sox" written in old English lettering across the front.
The only problem is that that logo hadn't even been designed for almost five years yet.
The scene is set in 1986, according to the report and the White Sox didn't go to that hat — and their current-day black and white uniforms — until 1991.
Since the White Sox logo has changed so much over the years, most film goers didn't even notice the blunder. But here's the one they should have used:
