Sources told the Post that before Jeter was injured, the Yankees shortstop looked at a 64-floor, six bedroom space at the Park Imperial on West 56th Street. The $100,000-a-month unit offers views of Central Park and the city.
Robert DeNiro reportedly had dibs on the place until he recently backed out.
The best part of the deal, Donald Trump won't be his pesky landlord.
After selling his luxurious 5425-square-foot apartment to a Brazilian magnate, brokers said Jeter was looking for a pied-a-terre. I'm not sure what that means but, if it's a place with a secret exit so he can still sneak out his lady friends with their swag bags, he'll probably take it.
