When it comes to the tragedy of the San Bernardino shooting on Wednesday, Roy Hibbert's heart might have been in the right place, but his fingers surely weren't.
In a prime example of "think before you tweet," the Lakers center shared his thoughts of the tragedy on social media, but it sure came out sounding bad — really bad.
Hibbert tweeted: "Despite losing games left and right my heart hurts more for those affected in the #SanBernardino shooting."

It didn't take long for Twitter users to pounce, with one tweet saying "I'd f---ing hope so Roy, c'mon man" and another adding "Jesus I would hope so. basketball games aren't human lives."
One user responded: "this tweet will be deleted soon. Comparing a mass shooting to losing basketball games.. What a big moron"
Hibbert hasn't deleted the tweet as yet, and I'm sure it was just a case of not expressing himself carefully, but you can bet he'll think first before posting the next time.
