Chris Jones has nutty wardrobe malfunction at NFL Combine (VIDEO)

Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Chris Jones had a wardrobe malfunction during his 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine Sunday.

Jones, who ran a 5.04, unofficially, stumbled at the end of his run and slid on the ground — thus letting his boys pop out of his shorts.

And the NFL Network showed it all. (Ladies, cover your eyes.)

I guess you could say Jones went balls out on that run.

Shelter pups used as 'ball dogs' during Brazilian tennis tournament (VIDEO)

Four lucky shelter dogs that once roamed the streets of Sao Paulo found themselves center stage at a Brazilian tennis tournament this weekend and became instant stars.

The four canines were used as 'ball dogs' at the Brazil Open exhibition match between players Roberto Carballes Baena of Spain and Gastao Elias of Portugal. The trained dogs — Frida, Costela, Mel and Isabelle — amused onlookers by picking up any balls that went out of bounds.

The shelter dogs, wearing orange bandanas, had trained for months. They spent almost a half-hour tracking down errant balls often intentionally missed by the 122nd and 140th ranked players. Baena and Elias will play for real Friday in the ATP tournament's quarter-finals.

And the furry fetchers even had custom wristbands.
The biggest difficulty, said trainer Andrea Beckert, was to make the animals more confident and playful.

"These are dogs that were mistreated. We have to make them adapt, feel the environment, the court, the noise of the balls and the noise of the people. Some are doing well, others are still a little scared," she said. "The basic commands that the dogs learned were pick the ball, let it go, stay and come."

The organizer of the ball-dog idea — an initiative to promote street pet adoption — said that all four still live in shelters.

"The idea is to show people that a well-fed and well-treated animal can be very happy," said Marli Scaramella. "We have more than 1,000 dogs in our care," she said.

 All in favor ... speak!

Yankees and Mets players close to being banned from using chewing tobacco

One of the most iconic, and disgusting, sights in Major League Baseball — a player chomping on a wad of chewing tobacco and spitting the brown goo wherever — may soon go the way of games of pepper if New York lawmakers get their way.

Officials for both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field have backed calls for banning chewing tobacco after the Health Department backed legislation calling for chaw to be kept out of both venues — by players and fans alike.

Democratic councilman Corey Johnson sponsored the legislation, and told the New York Daily News he hopes it will be in place in time for the start of the 2016 season, which begins on April 4 when the Mets play the Kansas City Royals.

"I couldn’t imagine us being OK as a city or society as a whole with a baseball player standing in left field smoking a cigarette while the game was going on, on national television," he told the News.

"But it seems to be, just because of culturally what has existed for a long time, it’s OK for professional athletes to stand in left field or in the dugout and chew wads of smokeless tobacco."

Health experts say young sports fans are repeatedly exposed to the practice on TV and at stadiums, making it seem "socially acceptable," despite it being linked with cancer and mouth disease.

The legislation is almost certain to pass as it has the backing of Mayor Bill de Blasio, and higher-ups for both the Yankees and the Mets.

Similar bans have already gone through at Boston’s Fenway Park and stadiums in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The practice has been completely banned in the minor leagues, but a deal still needs to be reached with the players' union to bring the practice to major league baseball.

Legal counsel Kevin Schroth said rates of young people using chewing tobacco surprisingly doubled between 2007 to 2013, with 4.4 per cent reporting using the substance — despite a decade-long policy drive in New York to cut the rates of tobacco use, which saw smoking rates fall to their lowest on record in 2014, at just 13.9 per cent.

While the Yankees and the Mets brass have said they support the ban, according to city officials, it remains to be seen how the players who stuff their cheeks with the stuff will react.

MLB has tried to slowly phase the practice out of the game by banning the substance in the minor leagues — but still hasn’t reached a deal with the MLB players’ union.

The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids is pushing cities with teams around the country to bar the product.

“Ball players aren’t just indulging in a harmless habit when they use smokeless tobacco — they’re damaging their health with an addictive produce that causes cancer and other serious diseases,” said Kevin O’Flaherty, the group’s northeast director. “And they’re endangering the well-being of millions of kids who look up to them.”

I'll spit to that.

Sanctioned MMA fight pitted 68-year-old grandma against 24-year-old opponent (VIDEO)

Social media has erupted after a 68-year-old grandmother was systematically knocked out by a professional fighter less than half her age in a violent mixed martial arts cage match sanctioned by an MMA league.

A somewhat disturbing video of the fight last Saturday has sparked controversy on social media where commentators have called for the Colorado-based Sparta Combat League to be banned.

Ann Perez de Tejada, already three years into collecting social security, was making her MMA debut against an opponent, 24-year-old Laura "The Honey Badger" Dettman.

Before the match, Dettman, who now has three wins and no losses, says she expected a "tough fight" against a "tough opponent" who was almost three times her age.

"I plan to have a good hard fight, put on a good show for people and show everybody that age is just a number," countered the sexagenarian.

And while it might have topped Perez's bucket list, not surprisingly, the fight does not last long after Dettman tackles the senior and pounds her face into submission:

In a statement on Facebook, Jeff Cisneros, Sparta Combat League's promoter, defended the decision to book the fight.

"For the weeks leading up to it, I won't lie, I took some heat for allowing this fight to take place, and why? Because people sometimes are insecure in the fact that they never followed their own dreams, so they want to derail someone else from following theirs," said Cisneros.

"When I get the chance to help facilitate someone's dream I will do it if I can. Sometimes one just needs that one opportunity."

And while it's easy to discourage this kind of matchup, Perez signed on to it and, thankfully, wasn't injured.

Maybe they should call her GrandMaMA.

Hockey player handcuffed on ice after fighting with referee (VIDEO)

A Canadian junior hockey game looked more like an episode of Cops after a player was arrested for fighting with a referee on the ice.

Olivier Marcotte was handcuffed and subsequently arrested for allegedly spitting in the face of the linesman, before getting wrestled to the ice by the zebra on Sunday, according to Journal de Montreal.

The 21-year-old plays for the Junior AA Hockey-Experts out of Sherbrooke, Quebec. The bizarre sequence of events happened in the third period, after a heated verbal exchange with the referee.

After other referees helped subdue Marcotte, the Quebec provincial police walked out onto the ice to handcuff the hockey player — face down — all to a chorus of cheers.
"I thought I had seen everything in 20 years of hockey, but here, it's the first time!" said opposing coach Dominic Amyot.

The dramatic sequence of events, according to CBC.ca, began when Marcotte allegedly spat in the linesman's face before the pair became entangled and the young player appeared to throw a punch before being wrestled to the ice.

Marcotte was released from custody later that night and will likely not face any charges. His team lost 9-3 to Nicolet.

J.T. Miller ejected for ‘putting on the tape’ and cutting opponent in fight (VIDEO)

New York Rangers forward J.T. Miller isn't known as a player to tussle, but when things get heated playing your cross-river rivals, you know every once in a while it's important to throw down the gloves.

J.T. just has to remember to have nothing under them.

During the second period against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, Miller found that out when he faced off against Devils forward Sergei Kalinin — and it ended up getting him thrown out of the game.

As you can clearly see in the video, Miller's right hand is taped, and during the fight Kalinin ended up suffering a cut on his face.

That combination turned out to be a violation of NHL rule 45.16, which states the following:

Any player wearing tape or any other material on his hands (below the wrist) who cuts or injures an opponent during an altercation will receive a match penalty in addition to any other penalties imposed including for fighting under this rule. A match penalty shall be assessed to a player who punches an unsuspecting opponent and causes an injury.

It's not quite "putting on the foil," but the rule is pretty clear.

P.K. Subban sends one-month old baby to hospital after friendly puck toss during practice

An act of kindness by Montreal Canadiens star P.K. Subban backfired this weekend — big time.

After practice on Sunday, the Canadiens defenseman tossed pucks into the stands for fans at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Unfortunately, one of the hard souvenirs accidentally hit one-month-old Beatrice Meloche in the head, knocking her unconscious and sending her to Montreal Children’s Hospital with a concussion.

Before you ask what kind of boufon brings a newborn toddler to a hockey game, remember this is Canada and know that the little tyke will be OK.

The baby's mother, Valérie Meloche, wrote on Facebook, that Beatrice spent the night under observation at the hospital.

Je demande votre aide! Aujourd'hui nous étions à la pratique Provigo des Canadiens de Montréal, au Centre Bell. À la fin...
Posted by Valérie Meloche Maquilleuse on Sunday, February 21, 2016
“P.K. feels terrible, but he had no idea. He felt terrible at first, then he felt really happy to hear that all was good,” Donald Beauchamp, the club’s vice president of communications, told the Calgary Sun.

“P.K. was so grateful (to hear the child was okay) and he can’t wait to meet with the family.”

Coincidentally, the baby was taken to the same hospital that named a wing "Atrium P.K. Subban" after he and his foundation donated $10 million last year.

The team said it would look into changing the policy of players tossing pucks into the crowd, despite calling the incident a “freak accident.”

Sacre bleu.

Yankees' media conduct video uses Russell Wilson and Cam Newton as 'right and wrong' way to handle press: Report

The New York Yankees are taking dealing with the press seriously this spring training. And, in an effort to prepare players to meet with reporters, the team’s media training staff is using NFL players and other public examples of how to act and how not to act after a disappointing loss.

Last week the team kicked off the first session of media training that the Yankees do every year for their players, a several-day program filled with demonstrations, guest speakers, and two 15-minute videos comprised of clips from athletes interacting with the media past and present.

According to ESPN, one video this year featured NFL quarterbacks Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks. The video, shown to pitchers and catchers, compared the way Newton handled his team’s Super Bowl loss this year with the way Wilson dealt with his team’s defeat last year.

Newton received widespread criticism after Super Bowl 50, not because his less-than-stellar performance but because he moped at the podium before abruptly storming out of the post-game press conference.

Wilson, by contrast, answered every reporter’s question and took the blame for his team’s loss to the Patriots in February 2015.

It's no surprise Yankees icon — and poster boy for media savvy — Derek Jeter is featured in one video right after a section called "Everything is Fair Game," and says that players have to take the approach that everyone is watching you at all times, on and off the field.

But it is some of the other examples in the "wrong way" category that have people scratching their heads including one clip of ESPN reporter Britt McHenry — who was caught on camera last April unleashing a rant at an employee of a car towing company.

McHenry mocked the teeth of the employee behind the counter and told the person to, among other things, "lose some weight, baby girl."

And, strangely, they included actor Charlie Sheen's dopey tirade five years ago on ABC, calling some people "droopy-armed children."

According to NJ Advance Media, who sat down with Yankees' public relations director Jason Zillo for an exclusive look at the pair of videos and learn some of the ins and outs of how the Yankees train and handle their players' interactions with the media.

General manager Brian Cashman and manager Joe Girardi—the driving forces behind the media training, Zillo said—appear on the videos multiple times along with former players Jeter, Jorge Posada, and Andy Pettitte, plus current Yanks Brett Gardner and Carlos Beltran, among others.

Some of the most interesting parts of the videos were recent clips from athletes, showcasing both good and bad post-game interviews, according to NJ.com.

And even New Jersey's beloved Lawrence Taylor gets kicked to the bad side.

Good:

— Russell Wilson's admission that he threw a bad pass in the Super Bowl a year ago that lost the Seattle Seahawks the game.

Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy last fall owning up to the ground ball that went under his glove in the World Series.

— Washington Wizards guard John Wall tearing up in a post-game interview not long after a young friend passed away.

— Pettitte's press conference admitting to HGH use.

Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh taking blame last month after missing a chip-shot kick to win a playoff game.

— Ron Washington owning up to cocaine use several years ago while with the Texas Rangers.

Bad:

Cam Newton barely answering questionsto reporters after the Carolina Panthers loss to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl three weeks ago.

— Ex-Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor aggressively confronting a reporter on the field.

— Dallas Cowboys' defensive end Greg Hardy's "no comment, next question" interview with reporters last fall.

— Former big leaguer Pete Rose lying about betting on baseball.

Says Cashman in the video: After games reporters are going to go into a clubhouse looking to talk about what went wrong. Take responsibility, he says.

Even one-time pariah Alex Rodriguez is used in a clip. And if the Yankees and press are loving A-Rod as much as everyone is reporting this spring, those tapes must be working.

St. John's and Seton Hall players scuffle during post-game handshake (VIDEO)

After trailing by as many as 19 points in the first half, St. John's made a strong second half comeback before losing 62-61 to their arch rival Seton Hall Pirates at Madison Square Garden Sunday.

The Red Storm struggled down the stretch as the Pirates almost let their NCAA Tournament bubble hopes get popped by the Big East bottom-dwellers.

Even though Seton Hall (19-7, 9-5) avoided what would have been a horrible loss to St. John's (8-20, 1-14), tempers were still heated in the postgame handshake line when a scuffle between the two teams led to several Pirates players pulling teammate Derrick Gordon off the court.

Things got testy after it appears that St. John's' Durand Johnson had a few choice words for Seton Hall star Isaiah Whitehead after the officials had already exited the floor.

The tense scene carried over from the game after the Red Storm had a one point lead with five seconds left but the officials made a questionable foul call on Ron Mvouika that sent Whitehead to the line. Whitehead nailed both free throws and the Johnnies failed to get a shot off to win it with two seconds remaining.

Then the fight erupted.

St. John’s snaps 16-game losing streak with 80-65 win over DePaul

It's been 31 years since Chris Mullin participated in Big East victory and finally, now as the St. John's coach, the former Johnnies star is back in the win column.

Mullin won 44 Big East regular-season games as a player at St. John’s, but it took 14 Big East games to get his first conference win as a coach.

The Red Storm snapped a school-record 16-game losing streak (including a 0-13 start in the Big East) with a 80-65 victory over DePaul Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena on Bill Wennington Bobblehead Night — in honor of Mullin’s former teammate on that wondrous 1985 Final Four team.

Federico Mussini scored all 17 of his points in the second half for the Johnnies (8-19, 1-13) in their first victory of 2016 and their first since beating former Big East rival Syracuse, 84-72, at the Garden on Dec. 13.

“It’s somewhat of a relief and somewhat justified,” Mullin said. “They got a win and they had played well enough to win. They just haven’t broken through. You can only do so much. They have to break through themselves.”

The Red Storm were in front by nine at the end of the first half, but didn't seem to know how to handle a lead. They let the Blue Demons (8-17, 2-11) open the second half on an 8-0 run to jump ahead, 32-31.

The Johnnies got the lead right back on a rebound basket by Felix Balamou and they never gave it back. Mussini had half the points in a 14-2 run that gave St. John’s a 54-37 lead with 9:12 to play. The Red Storm stretched it to 20 with six minutes left.

DePaul got as close as 74-65 in the frenetic final few minutes.

“From a basketball point it was brutal,” Mullin said of the streak. “But they can’t take this to the next game. They have to perform. They’ll feel better about themselves but the preparation and approach won’t vary.”

And maybe a Walter Berry Bobblehead Night wouldn't hurt either.

Devils rookie gets called for worst dive ever (VIDEO)

The NHL has been trying to cut down on embellishment over the past couple of years and has even started fining players for flopping as a way to draw penalties.

On Tuesday night, New Jersey Devils rookie Joseph Blandisi ended up earning a two-minute minor for embellishment when he took a dive after he was slashed on the back of the leg by Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald — who was about three feet away.

And the ploy was so flagrant, it's funny.

Blandisi regretted what he did afterwards.

"I never got swung at like that before, but I guess I could've done something to avoid that penalty," the young puckster said.

And what would that be?

"Just take it. Think about it before I go to the ground," Blandisi said. "I guess maybe I wanted to make sure the ref saw it and I took it too far."

Hockey. Soccer on skates.

14-year-old basketball player impaled by piece of court floor during game (VIDEO)

A 14-year-old Wisconsin youth league basketball player was partially impaled by a floorboard during a freak accident on the court during a game.

The young female was sprinting down the court when she collided with a ball-handler from the opposing team and hit the hardwood. She slid about three feet on her stomach before she came to a sudden stop underneath the basket.

She stayed down and couldn’t move because a four-inch piece of wood sticking up from the floor had pierced her torso, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

Emergency crews rushed to the Middleton gym and carried the girl out on a stretcher. She spent the night at American Family Children's Hospital, according to a local Wisconsin station, and reportedly did not suffer any injuries to her internal organs.

The girl's mother, who was the team's coach, was at her side during the scary scene.

"They did some exploratory surgery to see if there were any perforations internally and there weren't," tournament organizer Perry Hibner told the local station.

Hibner said that the relatively new floor of the fieldhouse was put in 15 years ago and maintained that this was a freak occurrence.

"Kind of like a strike of lightning where you just don't think those things are going to happen," he told the station. "It was a complete fluke."

School officials are taking extra steps to fix the relatively new floor.

The resilient 14-year-old is expected to recover and even play in a game again this week.

Manny Pacquiao says gay couples are 'worse than animals'

Floyd Mayweather may the poster boy for controversy in boxing, but now his long time rival Manny Pacquiao has sparked his own sort of uproar in the Philippines after describing gay couples as "worse than animals."

Nearing the end of a mostly unblemished boxing career, Paquiao has turned himself into a conservative, Bible-thumping politician as the eight-time world champion heads into the country's May senate elections — where he is seeking a seat.

And, whether or not you agree with his views, they sure sparked a worldwide firestorm.
"It's common sense. Do you see animals mating with the same sex? Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female," Pacquiao told local broadcaster TV5 in an interview aired earlier this week.

"If men mate with men and women mate with women they are worse than animals."

The 37-year-old fighter later took to Instagram to apologize for his remarks, but stuck to his beliefs.

"I'm sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I've hurt. I still stand on my belief that I'm against same-sex marriage because of what the Bible says, but I'm not condemning LGBT. I love you all with the love of the Lord. God Bless you all and I'm praying for you."

Pacquiao gave the television interview as part of his campaign for one of 12 seats in the nationally-elected senate. The most recent surveys suggest he would win.

Gay marriage is banned in the Philippines due to strong opposition from the Catholic Church —where 80 percent of the country's 100 million people are Catholic.

Same-sex marriages are officiated at small churches but these unions are not recognized by the church or the state.

Sage Steele shuts down NBA Celebrity All-Star MVP when he starts spouting off about politics (VIDEO)

Using a solid mic pull and a subtle shoulder check, ESPN reporter Sage Steele shut down Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler, after the singer tried to get political during an interview after the NBA Celebrity All-Star game in Toronto on Friday night.

Butler was named the Most Valuable Player and during the post-game interview with Steele, the 6-foot-4 Canadian resident chose to inject some politics during the live-TV exchange — however the feisty reporter was not having any of it.

"I just wanted to say, it's an election year in the US, the US has a lot it can learn from Canada, (such as) health care, taking caring of people," Butler began preaching after his 15 point, 14 rebound game.

However, in keeping with ESPN's "Stick to Sports" agenda during interviews,  Steele quickly pulled away the microphone and took back the spotlight, using her slender shoulder to push away the Canuck.

"We're talking about celebrity stuff, not politics," said Steele as she pulled the mic away. "Congratulations on your MVP."

The 35-year-old Butler started the interview at the Ricoh Coliseum by by thanking his hometown. The singer was born and raised in Texas but moved to Montreal in 2000 to attend McGill University. He still lives in Montreal, which is where he started Arcade Fire.

"I've lived in the great city of Montreal for 15 years," Butler said.

"I've represented Montreal. If you guys want to fast-track my Canadian citizenship, hopefully this will help make me a permanent resident.

"I just want to say that I'm retiring as a celebrity right now, so I will not be eligible for the celebrity game next year.

"I'm retiring as a celebrity. We brought this home for Canada.

"Respect to Drake. Respect to Team Canada."

Oh Canada. Stick to hockey, eh?

Female powerlifter throws up on judges during weightlifting competition (VIDEO)

A female weightlifter competing at the Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships put maybe a little too much oomph into her lift when she projectile-vomited towards a row of judges sitting in front row of the Florida event.

The powerlifter, who is known on social media as BlondeBeautyBri, has since become a viral sensation for her unfortunate experience at the Port Saint Lucie competition, also known as the "Rum9."

In the video clip, the woman happily approaches the weights and after performing a little dance, lifts the weights then, out of nowhere, spews in the direction of the judges sitting in front.

The judges on the front row can be seen moving their chairs back quickly in order to avoid the spray — but not before the woman completes the lift and successfully manages to lock the weights at waist height.

BlondeBeautyBri showed that she had a sense of humor and later posted the barfing video to her own Instagram page.

Hopefully, hurling won't become an Olympics weightlifting category, but I would at least give her a 10 for distance.

Man dies trying to complete Krispy Kreme Challenge

A man has died after starting a charity race in which contestants are also supposed to eat a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts midway through the 5-mile run.

What started as a tasty and fun way to raise money for a good cause took a turn for the worse when 58-year-old Jeff Woods dropped out of the race during the first mile Saturday morning complaining of chest pains. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Woods left the race before reaching the Krispy Kreme location halfway through the 5-mile course — where competitors eat a dozen of the glazed and sprinkled treats before completing the final 2½ miles to the finish line.

The annual race is organized by students at North Carolina State University and benefits the North Carolina Children’s Hospital. It’s in its 12th year.

Eli Manning lookalike arrested for throwing live alligator into Wendy's drive-thru (PHOTO)

A 23-year-old Florida man — with an uncanny resemblance to Eli Manning — landed himself in jail after the dimwitted prankster threw a live alligator into a Wendy's drive-thru window.

Joshua James is accused of assault with a deadly weapon and illegally capturing an alligator after throwing the scaly creature into a Royal Palm Beach Wendy’s fast food joint.

And damn, if he doesn't look like a young Eli.
The alligator wrangler allegedly picked up the gator off the side of the road before shoving the three and a half foot reptile from the back of his car through the cashier’s window and saying see ya later.

His mother told WPTV that her son is not violent and that the alligator was part of a joke aimed at his friend who works at the Wendy’s.

“He’s a prankster. He does stuff like this because he thinks it’s funny,” she said.

As for Eli, we all know how the former Ole Miss star must feel about Gators, but lucky for Peyton's brother, everyone knew where the stone-faced Giants quarterback was this weekend. And I mean everyone.

The alligator was not injured and released into a nearby canal.

As for Eli, he was only charged with looking dumbfounded ... again.

Colorado school district bans students from wearing Peyton Manning jerseys

While Peyton Manning gets ready to play possibly his last game in the NFL, one Colorado school district has banned students from wearing the future Hall of Famer’s No. 18 jersey — and it's not because they are Cam Newton fans.

That's because Manning’s iconic jersey number could be used to show loyalty to the local “18th Street Gang, according to officials at Greeley-Evans School District 6.

Manning's No. 18 makes it one of six numbers identified by the district — which operates 25 schools — as having potential gang associations.

So all you Owen Daniels fans are out of luck too.

The five other numbers identified as gang-related by the district and can’t be worn by students in the public district, about an hour from the Bronco’s Mile High Stadium, are 13, 14, 31, 41 and Daniels' 81. Meaning you won't see any Trevor Siemian, Cody Latimer or Omar Bolden jerseys cruising the halls either.

“Gangs use those items of clothing for a few reasons,” school district spokeswoman Theresa Meyers told The Tribune, of Greeley. “They use them to recruit and they use them to intimidate.”

But the No. 1 sported by Newton, quarterback of Denver’s Super Bowl opponent the Carolina Panthers, will be allowed.

Manning has worn No. 18 since his collegiate days at University of Tennessee, and his jersey has been a big seller in Colorado since he became a Bronco in 2012.

But even with the Broncos in Sunday’s NFL championship, and schools around the state holding “Broncos Days,” Greeley-Evans hasn’t had to field any real complaints about its dress code.

“I think as time has gone on, it’s just an expectation,” Meyers said. “Now, people are just like, ‘That’s the rule.’”

Sabres fans take being '7th Player' to another level (VIDEO)

They might not actually know the pain of an NHL cross-check, but a couple of of Buffalo Sabres fans looked like they were part of the team when turned their seats along the Bell Centre glass into their own extension of the hockey bench.

The two Sabres "players" sat there in full team regalia — home white jerseys with white helmets complete with all the appropriate decals —  and even had their own towels and water bottles as props.

And if you didn't know the creative pair was sitting on the wrong side of the glass, the imposters' mannerisms and anxious looks at the coach and scoreboard — not to mention the scraggy facial hair — would have you think they were really part of the team.

But maybe those funny looks and head shakes from the real players is what gave them away.

Jay Bromley rape accuser might have once tried to extort actor Taye Diggs: Report

Jay Bromley denied Sunday that he attempted to rape a woman at a Manhattan hotel Saturday morning after meeting her on Instagram. The woman claims the New York Giants defensive end hit her with his car after a hotel room encounter went bad and he tried to flee the scene.

Bromley's manager, Keko Payne, told the New York Daily News that the allegations were "absolutely not" true and that the woman tried to shake the 23-year-old Bromley down for money after their hookup turned bad at the Hyatt Herald Hotel in midtown.

Now, NYPD cops probing the alleged rape are investigating whether the same woman had previously tried to extort money from actor Taye Diggs over a sex tape last year.

The New York Post is reporting that Diggs — the talented star of Broadway, film and TV — was threatened with releasing a videotape of him, her and another woman having sex and doing drugs via Instagram last June.

The NYPD said they are aware of a third alleged shakedown scheme by the woman that targeted an unidentified “man of some note,” sources said.

Law-enforcement officials and neighbors identified Bromley’s accuser as a 26-year-old woman who lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The Post is withholding her name.

But last year, a woman — who went by the Instagram name Chankeong3 — uploaded a brief video clip showing her and Diggs in what appears to be an upscale hotel room.

Diggs — who shot to stardom in the 1998 movie “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,’’ is starring in TV’s “Murder in the First’’ and was in the original Broadway cast of “Rent’’ — is seen lying fully clothed on a large bed while the woman shakily pans the camera around the room before pointing it at herself and licking her lips.

In an accompanying, PROFANITY-LACED rant addressed to Diggs, she threatened to release “all 7 parts of this video, bitch.”

“I will air out this entire video piece by piece of u licking both me and my bitch p—y and ur f–king number if u don’t get ya s–t right,” she wrote.

“Act dumb if u want to. I have footage of u on all kinda drugs, and sucking on my c–t hoe.”
Less than a week after the Diggs video surfaced, Diary of a Hollywood Street King reported that the actor had paid Bromley’s accuser “a large undisclosed sum of money” to cover up the scandal.

The accuser acknowledged to The Post that she posted the video featuring Diggs, saying: “Yes, I had an altercation with an actor in the past. I went to social media. A lot of girls go to social media and blast off when they are upset.”

But she insisted, “I never extorted that man,” and, “That man never gave me a dime.”

Bromley’s accuser introduced herself to the football player on Instagram, sources have said.

She has told cops that he raped her at the Hyatt Herald Square hotel, then hit her with his car outside.

She said that Bromley — who has not been charged — attacked her after she got sick while performing a sex act on him.

“I’ll be honest with you, I threw up. I agreed to s–k him off, and I threw up. I was drunk, and that’s when he blew up,” she told The Post.

But she refused to discuss the alleged rape in any detail, saying, “I’m not getting into all that.’’

As for allegedly being hit by Bromley’s car, she said, “My knee and back are injured,” and added that she was “really traumatized” by the incident.

A Giants spokesperson told The New York Post that they are "aware of the situation."
