Little Yankees fan tearfully admits he's a 'frontrunner' Mets fan when Yanks are losing (VIDEO)

There's a critical point in every young New York sports fan's life when they have to make a few decisions which will forever chart their course in life — the Giants or Jets, Knicks or Nets or, in rare cases, the Rangers, Devils or Islanders.

In a trend that's become a little too widespread — parenting on YouTube — this four-year-old Yankees fan tearfully, but unashamedly, makes it perfectly clear who he roots for when his Yankees meet the Mets— the winner.

On this video, the kid starts crying when his Yankees are losing to the Mets and decides he wants to be a Mets fan now. The father's conversation with the kid sort of goes like this:

DAD: "So you basically go for whoever is winning?"

SON: "Yeah."

DAD: "So you're a frontrunner, not a flipflopper."

SON: "I'm not a flipflopper. Don't hurt my feelings. (pause) What's a frontrunner?"

The kid's truthful answer to his father's question about being a bandwagon fan is both refreshing and yet wishy-washy.

Sounds like he has a future in politics.
