A's, O's benches clear after chippy play at third base (VIDEO)

During Friday night's Athletics-Orioles game, Manny Machado seemed to object to the enthusiasm with which Josh Donaldson applied the tag during a rundown.

It's hard to tell what started the face-to-face exchange out at third base, but Machado went down like he took a phantom body-shot from Donaldson before both benches emptied.

From the replay, it looks like an ordinary tag and nothing to get hot and bothered about.

Maybe Machado should just mind his A's and O's.
