Florida State starting tight end Nick O’Leary will miss the rest of spring training because of injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident — his second in less than a year.
FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said the All-ACC second teamer injured his ankle and was “skinned from head to toe.”
O’Leary, the grandson of golfer Jack Nicklaus, caught 33 passes for 557 yards and seven touchdowns last season, helping the Seminoles win the BCS Championship.
It sounds like O'Leary needs a helmet 24/7— both on and off the field. O'Leary was involved in another motorcycle accident which he T-boned a car and flipped over the hood last July.
Amazingly, he walked away from the crash and did not miss any practice time.
