The Crimson Tide wasn't the only thing Oklahoma busted up at the Sugar Bowl on Thursday night. Right after their stunning 45-31 upset of two-time defending BCS champion Alabama, several Sooners took down an ESPN stage. The players, still in uniform and pads, stormed ESPN's post-game set at the Superdome while their coach, Bob Stoops, and quarterback, Trevor Knight, were being interviewed.
The ESPN stage couldn't handle the weight of all the joyous players and collapsed a few feet during the live broadcast.
But it still looks like it'll take more than a near disaster to keep 76-year-old Lou Holtz from spouting his old time wisdom.
