Sporting a burnt orange Bucs cap, Revis was introduced to the crowd then lobbed one over the plate. He looked more like Tim Tebow than David Price but was good enough for the crowd out at the Trop.
The Tampa Bay Rays ended up defeating the New York Yankees, 5-1.
You can bet a lot of Jets fans were tossing shoes and choice words in the direction of their flat screens at the same time.

Looks like the great Revis has packed on a few lbs during his rehab.
ReplyDeleteTampa is going to regret this trade, mark my word.
The saints and Falcons are going to pass and pass at his part of the field all day long.
Besides that, Carolina is going to run right at him.
He will not make it through the season.
Not a good move, IMO, for Tampa.
For the Jets, who cares?, they are the road apple of the NFL.
No way they ever contend as long as Sanchez and or Ryan are still with the team.
Actually they wont regret this at all. B/c its worth the risk for them. He plays and plays well then u have one of the best to ever do it. He plays and isnt the same, well i am sure a 70 % revis is better then most. He doesnt play or gets hurt again, you pay him 16 mil for the year and then send him packing. Yeah you lose a draft pick in a weak draft that seems like no one is worthy of a 1st rd pick(according to the "professional" analyst on ESPN that are just guessing). Im a eagles fan so one way or the other i could careless, but i think it was well worth the risk. The worst part will be when he comes back elite, and next offseason we have to hear about his contract again bc they will have to restructure for guaranteed money.
