A.J. Pierzynski admits drinking rally beers during games, playing hungover

Next time you see A.J. Pierzynski reach for a late-inning cup of dugout Gatorade, you might want to check out if it looks full-bodied with a foamy head.

On Sunday's Garbage Time with Katie Nolan, the Atlanta Braves catcher revealed to Nolan that he has sipped a beer during MLB games.

Holding a cold one, Pierzynski explained, "You're in the fifteenth-inning of a game, six hours in ... and a starting pitcher comes out with rally beers..."

That's cool.

The well-travelled 18-year MLB veteran also admitted that he has played hungover — but not drunk.

"I've never played a game where I was intoxicated ... maybe," he slurred.
