Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills sets disabled skiing speed record

Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills was singing Yeah, Yeah, Yeah after the former Mrs. Beatle set a new world record for a disabled female skier.

Mills, who lost the lower half of her left leg and crushed her pelvis after she was knocked down by a police motorcycle in 1993, set the new speed record last week in the Alpine resort of Vars.

The 47-year-old Mills told Hello! Magazine she was "amazingly proud" after she jetted down the French mountain slope at 103.6mph.

"It’s a rare man who can give you the same thrill that going down a mountain at more than 100mph can," said Mills, who married Sir Paul in 2002 and was divorced from the former Beatle in 2008.

But that was so yesterday.

Now she is looking forward to competing in the Paralympics in South Korea in 2018.

"I’ll be 50 then," she said. "But that won’t stop me."

Hey. Paul was still going strong at sixty-four.
