Hockey player clotheslines himself after game misconduct (VIDEO)

A Midwest Junior Hockey League player received a game misconduct for spearing an opponent and came pretty close to using the same stick to lop off his own head as he was leaving the ice.

Mitchell Skiba, a defenseman for the Alpena Flyers, got clotheslined with his own stick as he was exiting the rink — giving himself a giant taste of irony to go with his embarrassment.
