Lovie Smith not happy with Austin Seferian-Jenkins posting photo of penalty pose: Report

Buccaneers rookie Austin Seferian-Jenkins scored Sunday in a loss to the Falcons. And posed like Captain Morgan in the end zone while using the ball as a barrel after his touchdown.

Too bad the pirate pose was a 15-yard penalty, which, it turns out, led to Falcons go-ahead touchdown.

But the tight end wasn't done. Later he posted an image of the guilty touchdown celebration to Instagram with the caption, “Everybody has a little captain in them. #Itsabucslife.”

Seferian-Jenkins has deleted the photo from his Instagram feed but, suffice it to say, coach Lovie Smith wasn't too happy.

“When guys make mistakes, I confront them immediately, which happened this time,” Smith said, according to the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud of (via PFT).

“The penalty of course, right away. And when I found out about the Instagram, I'm on Facebook a little bit so I can get pictures of my grandchild. Besides that, I'm not really into the rest of the stuff. Once it came to my attention, then I confronted him.”

"It is a teaching moment, though, for a rookie,”"Smith said of the 15-yard penalty. "You hate ... you know with rookies you want to have those teaching moments before something happens out there. We go over the rules, of course, you can't use a prop after a touchdown."

Seferian-Jenkins has since apologized but maybe next time he should try being a little more subdued — more like The Most Interesting Man in the World guy.
