APB out for 'Mystery Cop' who went one-on-one with kid during break (VIDEO)

Police in San Antonio are searching for a suspect, but not in a criminal sense. The SAPD is has put out an APB for one of their own — an officer who stopped his cruiser to shoot a little hoops with a couple of young ballers while on his break — after the kid's mother posted a video of the action on Facebook.

The "Mystery Cop", who hasn't been identified, stopped when he saw 12-year-old Jacob Aguirre playing basketball with his brothers.

I thought I was in trouble when he pulled over,” Aguirre told KENS 5 in San Antonio.

But he wasn't in trouble. Turns out the cop just wanted to get in some one-on-one.

Jacob's mother, Monica Aguirre, caught some of the action from a window:

The San Antonio Police Department is working to identify the officer and posted the clip to its own Facebook page.

“Whoever he is I want to say thank you and maybe I would like to meet him,” said Jacob's mom.

Jacob had other reasons to face the officer.

“I want my rematch,” said the sixth-grader, after losing to the cop by only two points.
