John Legend takes shot at Riley Cooper on Twitter during Saints-Eagles game

Big strides were made by Riley Cooper this season — both on and off the field— but that still doesn't mean you'll find an abundance of fans wearing the Eagles receiver's jersey in the stands.

Not everyone has forgiven the fourth-year Philadelphia player for his use of a racial slur in a video prior to the start of the season.

And, apparently, Grammy winner John Legend is one of them.

After Cooper's 10-yard touchdown catch gave the Eagles a 7-3 lead in the NFC wild-card playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, Legend took this shot at the wideout via Twitter.

When one follower questioned Legend about dissing Cooper during the game, the singer fired back.

Legend attended University of Pennsylvania, and has always been vocal about his affection for the City of Brotherly Love. But, it seems, even after Riley's apology and career year — 47 catches, 835 yards and eight TDs — the player still hasn't earned the forgiveness of the R&B singer.

Later in the game, with a wide open field and about nine minutes remaining in the third, Cooper dropped a third-down pass that hit him right in the hands, forcing a punt. The Saints scored a touchdown on the subsequent drive, taking a 20-7 lead.

No love songs here.
