Hockey player's celebration comes crashing down

A New Jersey hockey player found out the hard way that they don't build junior hockey rinks as sturdy as they do in the NHL.

Imitating the popular goal-scoring celebration of NHL players by leaping into the glass, Atlantic Junior Hockey League player Taylor Cox, tried it himself after scoring in the second period — to a glass-shattering ending.

Call it a Jersey Score.

The New Jersey Junior Titans went on to defeat the New Jersey Rockets 4-1 and the video has been viewed more than 280,000 times on YouTube.

Cox was just fine.  He is a hockey player after all.
